About this Position:

The Real Estate Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, supporting accounting tasks, and working on system design projects to improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work with various software tools to streamline real estate operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis, Reporting, & Accounting Support:
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis of property performance, including cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    • Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to analyze market trends, rental rates, and property values to support decision-making.
    • Collaborate with the accounting team in the preparation of financial statements, reconciling accounts, tracking expenses, and managing property budgets.
    • Handle accounting-related requests submitted by our operations team in a ticketing system.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • System Design, Process Improvement, & Data Management:
    • Evaluate and implement new software solutions to enhance property management operations.
    • Work directly with the top executives on process and system improvements that will significantly impact the company’s growth.
    • Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials for new systems.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date property and financial data in company systems.
    • Generate and analyze reports to support operational and strategic initiatives.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel)
  • Strong customer service mindset, owner’s mentality, and ability to embrace changes and innovation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or real estate
  • Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi Voyager) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Salary range: $54,000 – $72,000 annually, plus bonus.
